NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- One person suffered life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Norfolk on Thursday evening.

According to Norfolk Police, a call came in around 6:25 p.m. in reference to a single car crash in the 1200 block of Church Street.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in the area.
