13 February 2025 at 16:09

The woman who gave birth on a New York City subway has been identified as a missing Florida woman who was last seen in August, according to reports.

The ex-boyfriend of 25-year-old Jenny Saint Pierre reported her missing on Aug. 5, 2024, according to the Hallandale Beach Police Department.

"MISSING PERSON ALERT. We need your help to locate 25-year-old Jenny Saint Pierre, missing since August, 5, 2024," a previous post on X from police read.

"Please share and help bring Jenny home safely."

FAMILY OF MISSING PREGNANT WOMAN REVEALS SUSPICIONS ABOUT DISAPPEARANCE

Investigators told CBS News Miami that Pierre was schizophrenic and that she could be in danger. Pierre's family also expressed concern to police, saying that she was "excited about becoming a mother," but were worried something may have happened to her.Β

Pierre's ex-boyfriend told her sister that they had an argument, which made her angry, and then she left, the outlet reported.

However, Pierre's family's worst fears were debunked on Wednesday after she made national headlines.

New York City Transit President Demetrius Crichlow said just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a train conductor was notified by numerous passengers that a woman had given birth inside a subway car.

Video obtained by Fox News Digital from a passenger on board captured the situation.

"POV: You're headed to work, and you witness someone giving birth on the train," a caption over the video read.Β

Witnesses told the New York Times that, thanks to the swift actions of some good Samaritans, Pierre was taken care of after they jumped in to help deliver the baby before EMS arrived.Β

Crichlow added that EMS transported Pierre and her new baby girl to a hospital. Both are said to be in good condition.

"This is another example of New Yorkers coming together to help each other, assisted by caring transit workers and other responders, reflecting the best of the subway community and this city," Crichlow said.

Pierre’s mother told the Times that she was happy to learn that her daughter was safe and that she was a grandmother.

"I’ve been thinking about my daughter every day, praying every day that she’s OK, that her baby is OK," she told the newspaper. "I’m going to sleep good tonight."

She added that her daughter and new granddaughter could return home anytime and that their entire family would be waiting for them.Β

"We will always be there for her, and for her baby," she said.

It was not immediately known why Pierre fled to New York or how long she was living there.Β

Fox News Digital reached out to the Hallandale Beach Police Department but did not immediately receive a response.Β

Missing Domino's pizza delivery driver's car found in Wisconsin: police

21 January 2025 at 08:03

The search for a Domino’s pizza delivery driver who disappeared in Minnesota during a shift last week remains ongoing after authorities say his car was discovered over 100 miles away in Wisconsin on Sunday.

A witness told police that they saw Shuefaub Xiong, 42, in his red Toyota Camry around 4 p.m. Saturday in Superior, Wisconsin, the Apple Valley Police Department in Minnesota said Monday.

Police discovered Xiong’s Toyota Camry unoccupied on Sunday in Superior – around 170 miles north of Apple Valley, where Xiong was reported missing on Jan. 14 after he "did not return home" from work at Domino’s, police said.

A friend of Xiong’s also reported that they spoke in Roseville, Minnesota, around 8 p.m. Saturday, though police say it was unclear how Xiong traveled or if he used a different car to cross back into the state.

Investigators believe Xiong may be experiencing a mental health crisis after his "uncharacteristic behavior." Police said that while there is no indication that Xiong is a threat to others, he is known to carry a firearm and has a permit to carry.

Xiong was first reported missing after he failed to make four deliveries that were scheduled around 6 p.m. on Jan. 14. Officers conducted searches in each area where Xiong was supposed to make a delivery, though police said they did not find the missing delivery driver.

Police said the last known sighting of Xiong on Jan. 14 was at a Target in Richfield, Minnesota, though he was also believed to have been in Golden Valley at one point.

Investigation into his phone location, bank records, and known social media accounts have not produced any leads on why Xiong disappeared or his current whereabouts, police said.

Friends and family described Xiong in a post on a GoFundme page as "the most thoughtful, kind, and selfless person we know" and "the one who always puts others before himself."

"Our family is heartbroken by his disappearance, and each moment without him feels like an eternity. We are doing everything in our power to bring him home safely," the post read.

Xiong is described as an Asian male, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Authorities asked anyone with information regarding Xiong’s location to call (952) 953-2700.

Family of missing pregnant woman reveals suspicions about disappearance

18 January 2025 at 13:00

An Indiana woman was nine months pregnant when she disappeared over three months ago, and her family has suspicions about her last whereabouts.

Mother of three Emma Baum, 25, went missing Oct. 10 in Gary, Indiana, and she was about to give birth to her fourth child.Β

Baum was last seen being dropped off at her boyfriend's house, her sister Hailey Baum-Waddell told Fox News Digital.Β

"Looking for Emma has been a very struggling thing for everybody, mentally and physically and emotionally … but we're not going to stop looking for her," Baum-Waddell said. "I think if people keep going on and chanting that something needs to be done and chanting her name … just get the word out because a lot of people know, but not everybody knows."

MOM 9 MONTHS PREGNANT MISSING FOR A MONTH, LAST SEEN AT BOYFRIEND'S HOUSE, FAMILY SAYS

Authorities received a missing persons report for Baum from her family Oct. 28, Gary Police Cmdr. Jack Hamady told Fox News Digital.Β

"A couple of days went by. … We all started, like, messaging each other, β€˜Hey, have you heard from Emma? Anybody seen her? Can you message one of her friends to get a hold of her boyfriend?’ And it was kind of just a ring around with everybody and everyone's just trying to figure it out," Baum-Waddell said.

"Then we're like, β€˜OK, well, this is not normal.’ … That's when my mom really started to panic," she added. "Then my mom ended up going to the police station."

Officers with the Gary Police Department have used K-9s on several searches in the area, and the Lake County Sheriff's Department has assisted in a few of the searches, Hamady said.

"We have searched a house, apartment, recreational vehicles and one other property," he added.

In addition to the police investigation, Baum-Waddell said she and other relatives of Baum have been organizing a widespread search after a social media post of hers drew hundreds of willing participants.Β

"There's been a lot of people who have offered to come out and look for her," she said. "We've talked it over with other search groups. I made a post online just saying, you know, β€˜Hands of how many people would be willing to come out,’ and I posted it in multiple groups."

Baum lived in Portage, Indiana, but was visiting her boyfriend in Gary when she was last seen.

Baum-Waddell said her sister didn't have a working phone when she disappeared and that although her sister may have "gone off and done her own thing" for several days at a time, she would never disappear for such a long period of time. Β

"That day, she was supposed to go with her boyfriend … to the phone store and get it activated, and she never got the phone activated," she said. "She's been completely silent on everything, and now that's not like her."

Baum-Waddell also mentioned her sister's devotion as a mother and the close relationship she has with her oldest son.

"They have a freaking crazy, unbreakable bond," she shared. "For her not to be here to see him on Christmas or Thanksgiving or … Β New Year's. It's unreal. There's no way she would do that to him."

Baum-Waddell believes her sister's boyfriend is "hiding something," she told Fox News Digital, and Baum's mother believes the boyfriend had something to do with her disappearance, WGN9 reported.

"We have not charged anyone with the disappearance of Emma Baum, and she has not been located yet," Hamady said. "We continue to search and interview individuals that are or maybe associated with this case."

Baum's boyfriend, who was originally in custody in an unrelated case, was released from Lake County Jail and is awaiting his court date for the separate charges, Hamady added.Β

"Emma gave everybody her all, gave them all the love that she could," Baum-Waddell emotionally said about her sister. "She has these big brown eyes, and she always just wanted to make everybody, you know, laugh or feel good about themselves or have them feel included.

"It's very difficult because now it's not just her that's missing. It's her baby. And you don't want to think, you know, the worst because who would want to, you know, hurt a girl and her baby?" she added. "We're just hoping to find her safe."

The blaze broke out on Friday night at Mallouk's house in Okeechobee, Florida, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.Β
