FIRST ON FOX -- President Donald Trump’s legal team continued to dial up the pressure on CBS and parent company Paramount Global on Thursday with a massive discovery demand for 107 different forms of communications. 

Trump is seeking $20 billion in a lawsuit against CBS, alleging election interference over its handling of a "60 Minutes" interview. The president has accused CBS of aiding his Democrat rival Vice President Kamala Harris through deceptive editing one month before they faced off in the presidential election. The saga began when Harris was widely mocked for a "word salad" answer she gave to "60 Minutes" correspondent Bill Whitaker during a preview of the interview on "Face the Nation," as CBS aired a more coherent answer to the same question during a primetime special. 

In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, Trump’s legal team has requested "all documents in CBS Interactive’s possession, custody, or control, wherever located, including documents in the possession of its representatives, attorneys, or other persons directly or indirectly retained by CBS Interactive, or anyone else acting on its behalf or otherwise subject to its control" pertaining to the interview.

The demand includes all communications between CBS and the FCC, The Biden administration, the Harris campaign and the DNC from September 22, 0224 through February 11, 2025. Trump’s legal team also asked for all communications about the interview involving "60 Minutes" executive editor Tanya Simon’s, executive producer Bill Owens, "Face the Nation" anchor Margaret Brennan or Whitaker, along with "any documents containing communications about interviewing or potentially interviewing President Trump for the Election Special." 

Trump’s legal team has demanded "any documents containing communications" about the unedited exchange between CBS staffers and the Biden administration, Harris campaign and the DNC. 

The 27-page list of discovery demands also asks for all internal communications "60 Minutes" honchos had with editors, journalists and correspondents during the controversy, along with any communications with the Harris campaign.

Any communications pertaining to the lawsuit between CBS and Paramount employees have also been requested, along with any communications about advertising or commercials during the programs that aired the Harris interview.

Shari Redstone, Paramount’s controlling shareholder, is also named and Trump’s legal team wants to see her interactions with "60 Minutes" employees, too. 

Critics accused CBS News of editing Harris' "word salad" answer to shield the former vice president from further backlash. The discovery request comes after Trump secured a legal victory earlier this week when a judge deemed CBS and Paramount’s motion to dismiss "moot."

CBS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

New FCC Chair Brendan Carr ordered CBS News to hand over the unedited transcript as part of its investigation into whether the network violated the FCC's "news distortion" policy after a complaint was filed. CBS had refused to release the unedited transcript until the FCC got involved. 

Last week, Trump’s legal team led by attorneys Ed Paltzik and Dan Epstein amended the original lawsuit after the release of the unedited transcript and raw footage of its controversial "60 Minutes" interview. The lawsuit added CBS News' parent company, Paramount Global, as a defendant, citing how the "60 Minutes" election special was platformed on its Paramount+ streaming service. The lawsuit added Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, as a plaintiff and increased the damages claim to $20 billion.

CBS parent company Paramount Global is reportedly considering settling the suit ahead of a planned merger with Skydance Media in hopes of preventing potential retribution by Trump's FCC, which has the authority to halt the multibillion-dollar transaction. Redstone is reportedly in favor of settling with the president. 

The case against CBS and Paramount Global is one of the many legal fronts, criminal and civil, being coordinated by Trump’s Senior Counsel Boris Epshteyn.

Christie Brinkley gave the internet an inside look at her "storybook" home in Sag Harbor, New York. 

Caleb Simpson is an internet personality that stops people on the street and asks them how much their rent is in New York City. He then asks them for a tour of their homes.

On Feb. 3, Simpson shared an inside look of Brinkley's home on Long Island with the former supermodel leading the tour on TikTok. He originally posted the video with Brinkley on YouTube in 2023.

"How much do you pay for rent in Sag Harbor?" Simpson asked Brinkley at the beginning of the clip. "Oh, I don’t rent, I actually own a home here," she replied.

The camera panned to a view of Brinkley's home, which Simpson pointed out looked "like a castle." Brinkley noted that she was in the process of "re-wilding" her fields, so by spring, it would be full of flowers.

"I’ve lived here for 24 years, it’s the longest I’ve ever lived in any place in my life," she shared.

According to Page Six, Brinkley purchased the 11-bedroom Tower Hill estate in Bridgehampton in 1998, and her property spans over 20 acres.

Brinkley introduced Simpson to some of her chickens, including, "Scrambled, Sunny Side Up, Benedict." Her outdoor space includes a chicken coop, a greenhouse, an outdoor pool and spa and lots of open fields. 

She said her home is "like a little storybook house."

In Brinkley's residence is a tower where she took Simpson to the top. "This makes you, like, the self-proclaimed Queen of the Hamptons," he told her.

"Kind of," she replied with a laugh.

Brinkley showed off some of her prized possessions in her home. She pointed out framed artwork from her children. She has three children from past relationships: Alexa, Jack and Sailor.

Brinkley also showed Simpson her 270-year-old bonsai tree: "270-year-old bonsai tree," she said with a laugh.

Fans were in awe of Brinkley's home and lifestyle in Sag Harbor. 

"she looks fantastic and I love her home," one user commented on Simpson's TikTok.

"this house is stunning, I'd never leave," another added. "she's living my dream life," a third wrote.

According to People, Brinkley's Hamptons home was on the market for $29.5 million in 2021. 

Brinkley told Simpson that she "occasionally" considers selling her home and thought, "‘Oh, maybe I’ll sell it and just, like, live on a sailboat or something," but her children have stopped her.

"The kids are like, ‘No, mom. We grew up here. This is our home, you can’t.' As a result, the kids really are always here. I love it for that," she said.

Republican and Independent voters in a Fox News Digital focus group reacted positively to President Donald Trump's executive actions targeting transgender ideology in America's sports and other institutions.

The focus group of 156 voters across the political aisle watched a video clip of the president signing his executive order, "Keeping men out of women's sports," on February 5.

Trump said, "Actions were taken today are the latest in a sweeping effort to reclaim our culture and our laws from the radical left crusade against biological reality."

"On day one, I made it official, and I'm making it official policy of the United States government that there is, you know, two genders. We have two genders. What might they be? Man and woman, Right? Male and female. Male and female. Can't think of too many others, but it's pretty amazing."

"I rescinded federal funds too, and this is so important, to any program that promotes transgender ideology using taxpayer dollars. We're not going to do it. We're not going to do it. And last week I effectively banned the chemical castration and surgical mutilation of minor children."

After Trump referred to two genders and his action to strip federal funding for transgender surgeries, Democratic voters' approval remained steady, but Republican and Independent voters' approval steadily climbed, according to the Fox News Dial.

President of Maslansky + Partners Lee Carter, who conducted the focus group for Fox News Digital, remarked, "Even Democrats mostly agree!"

"For anyone who is hysterical and thinks this resonates because people are transphobic – that is not it at all," she added.

"People believe a few things: 1. Children need to be children. 2. If you are too young to have a beer or get a tattoo you are too young to make this decision. 3. Common Sense needs to prevail. 4. Our tax money shouldn’t fund it," Carter continued.

One focus group member said, "Finally, something that makes sense. Taking away government money for things we shouldn't be involved in was one of the best things Trump has ever done."

The group also reacted to a video of Trump discussing his initial executive orders challenging diversity, equity and inclusion ("DEI") and gender ideology in American institutions during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 23. 

"With the recent yet somewhat unexpected great Supreme Court decision just made, America will once again become a merit-based country," Trump said. "You have to hear that word merit-based country."

"And I've made it official, an official policy of the United States that there are only two genders, male and female, and we will have no men participating in women's sports and transgender operations, which, became the rage will occur very rarely. Finally, as we restore common sense in America, we're moving quickly to bring back strength and peace and stability abroad," he continued.

Republican and Independent voters' approval shot up when Trump brought up making America once again a "merit-based country." After he declared a ban on male athletes in women's sports and transgender medical operations, both groups' approval steadily increased.

Democratic voters' approval remained level, dipping slightly during his remarks about gender ideology, according to a Fox News Dial.

Carter found the groups' reaction "fascinating."

"Look at the strength of reactions to ‘merit-based’ and ‘common sense’," she remarked.

One focus group member said, "He may be a rude dude, but I love his thoughts and how much common sense he is making! Love this!"

A total of 156 voters participated in the Fox News Digital focus group. Seventy-five Democratic voters participated, along with 49 Republican voters and 32 Independent voters.

Trump has signed 63 executive orders since his inauguration, according to a count from Fox News, which far surpasses the rate of any presidential predecessors during their first weeks in office.

According to a Marquette Law School Poll national survey released on Wednesday, Trump's most popular executive action with Americans is his order having the federal government recognize only two sexes — male and female. 

Sixty-three percent of adults nationwide supported the move, with just 37% opposed, the survey indicates.

Demi Moore has class, and she's not afraid to show it. 

On Sunday, the Golden Globe Award-winning actress seemed to frustrate a group of fans who became irate after she politely declined to sign autographs while attending the Santa Barbara Film Festival. 

"If I sign one, then I wouldn't be able to sign for everybody, so I wouldn't want to do that," Moore told the small group of autograph hunters.

"Humble people sign autographs," one woman responded. "You're not humble."

"Oh, don't say mean things," Moore said.

Representatives for the actress did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Moore is no stranger to harsh criticism. 

Earlier this week, the 62-year-old actress opened up about the shame she received for her role as a stripper in the iconic 1996 film "Striptease."

"I think I definitely felt an impact of harshness of judgment that came at me that was in many respects shaming, because part of that was playing a stripper," Moore told "CBS Mornings."

"And so a lot was trying to diminish the impact of this monumental moment that was changing things, not just for me, but for all women. There is no rush, though, and Hudson "hasn’t put any pressure on Bill at all to propose, and she feels like it will happen when and if the time is right."

Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 23, met on an flight headed to Boston in 2021 and apparently immediately hit it off.

Hudson celebrated their "meetiversary" on Tuesday. Belichick signed one of her college textbooks on the flight as they sat next to one another.

"Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!" Belichick wrote in the book, signed Feb. 11, 2021.

A fishing charter boat captain who rescued two parachuting Navy pilots after witnessing their unmanned fighter jet plummet into San Diego Bay described what he saw as something from a movie.

The U.S. Navy electronic-warfare aircraft, a Boeing EA-18G Growler, crashed into San Diego Bay near Naval Air Station North Island just after 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Capt. Brandon Viets of Premier Sportfishing had 12 people on board his boat for recreational fishing nearby on what he called a "normal day," when everything suddenly went south.

"Normally we hear jets taking off, because North Island is right there next to us, less than a half mile away," Viets told Fox News Digital. 

However, on Wednesday's trip, he said, a nearby jet was louder than usual, capturing his attention.

"We were cruising out, and when I looked back, I saw a jet at almost eye level, about a few hundred yards off the back of the boat," he said. "I looked to the right of that jet, and I saw two parachutes with two guys falling down."

Viets described the surreal feeling of watching the fighter jet flying, not knowing if anyone was onboard piloting it.

"At that point, I'm like, ‘Holy moly,’" he said. "Like, this is what we see in movies."

Without hesitation, Viets took to the PA system to notify the crew.

"I was telling them, 'Hey, we're going. We've got to go help,'" he said. "'We don't know if they are injured or not or if there are people in the water, and we need to get them out of there.'"

The crew turned the boat around and sped toward the pilots.

Viets said the boat was going as fast as the engine allowed, and they were soon next to the two soaked service members.

The plane was still in the air.

"As soon as I pulled up to them, I was yelling to them, just to make sure they were OK," he said. "Then I heard this loud noise, boom, and [the jet] hit the water less than an eighth of a mile away from us."

The military aircraft crashed on the other side of the channel, Viets said.

He described a "plume" of sand, muck and water, at least 80 feet high, shooting up from the bay.

Viets' crew retrieved all the boat's safety gear, including safety ladders, and positioned the boat near the pilots in the water.

Both pilots were pulled from the water and were coherent, according to Viets.

"I didn't ask anything about what happened or the plane. I was just worried about them," he said. "I asked about how they were, and their composure was pretty good for what just happened. They were pretty calm and collected about it, but you could still see a lot of [things] going on in their brains."

Crew members instructed the pilots to sit down and later were met by the Coast Guard.

A Navy vessel then picked the pilots up and took them to a nearby dock, Viets said. The fishing boat joined and stayed with the authorities for about 45 minutes.

The Coast Guard San Diego Office confirmed the service members were then transferred to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations.

"Then the Coast Guard said, ‘OK, you guys are good to go,'" Viets said. "We went fishing after that and caught a few fish for a couple of hours."

Both pilots were taken to a hospital and were reportedly in stable condition, according to the Coast Guard.

Viets said the crew assisted a few small private boats in the past that sank, but Wednesday's incident was unique.

"We have assisted smaller vessels, helping someone get off their boat or if they need a pump or something small like that, but nothing involving an aircraft that crashed — or pilots with parachutes in the water," he said. "Nothing like that."

He added it took a while for the gravity of the day's events to sink in.

"It took me a little while to take it in and just to think, 'I'm glad that plane landed somewhere where it didn't hurt anyone,'" Viets said. "I'm still thinking, ‘Luckily, it landed somewhere safe, not on land, and those two pilots seem to be OK.’"

The cause of the crash has not yet been released by Naval Base Coronado’s Emergency Operations Center, which is investigating.

However, H&M Landing, a fishing company, provided a statement to Fox News Digital claiming the aircraft experienced a "mechanical failure."

A Navy official told Fox News Digital it is unclear if a distress signal was sent out prior to the crash, and the pilots have not been publicly identified.

As of Thursday, the Navy is continuing efforts to safely remove the aircraft from the bay as quickly as possible, while minimizing environmental impact, according to a statement. Weather conditions may delay the timeline. 

In a statement Thursday, the Naval Air Forces said it is leading efforts to assess and coordinate the jet's retrieval, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One is the tactical commander for salvage operations.

"Some pieces of debris may resemble weapons or classified components and may present a hazard if handled," it said in the statement.

The public is strongly advised not to approach, touch or collect any debris that may wash ashore. They are also asked to remain clear of the area and not interfere with the recovery.

The wreck came after a recent string of fatal plane crashes across the country.

An Army Black Hawk helicopter collided midair with a commercial passenger plane near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Jan. 29, killing 67 people.

In the following days, plane crashes in Pennsylvania and Alaska claimed the lives of 17 people.

Most recently, a private jet owned by Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil was involved in a fatal crash Monday at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona.

A humpback whale swallowed a man on a kayak off the coast of Chile last week, before he was quickly able to get out of the leviathan’s mouth unharmed.

Video shows the death-defying and terrifying moment from last Saturday, when Adrián Simancas was kayaking with his father, Dell, in Bahía El Águila near the San Isidro Lighthouse in the Strait of Magellan, off Chilean Patagonia.

As Simancas was paddling in what appeared to be an inflatable kayak, a humpback whale rolled on the surface with its mouth open, swallowing the kayaker.

Moments later, the tail broke the surface and the whale dove to deeper depth. Simancas and his yellow kayak then resurfaced after being freed from the clutches of the whale’s jaws.

The Associated Press reported that Dell captured the moment on video and encouraged his son to stay calm.

"Stay calm, stay calm," the father was heard saying in Spanish after his son was released from the whale.

"I thought I was dead," Adrián told the AP. "I thought it had eaten me, that it had swallowed me."

He described the few seconds of "terror" to the wire service, explaining that his real fear set in after resurfacing, fearing that the whale would hurt his father or that he would die in the cold waters.

"When I came up and started floating, I was scared that something might happen to my father too, that we wouldn’t reach the shore in time, or that I would get hypothermia," Adrián said.

Adrián ultimately reached his father’s kayak, and both returned to shore without injuries.

The Strait of Magellan, which is located about 1,600 miles south of Santiago, Chile, is a major tourist attraction in Chilean Patagonia, and is known for adventurous activities.

The frigid waters in the area pose a challenge for those who attempt to cross the strait.

While whale attacks on humans are extremely rare in Chilean waters, whale deaths from collisions with cargo ships have increased in recent years, and strandings have become a recurring issue in the last decade.

On Wednesday, Toronto Raptors coach Darko Rajaković described veteran Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson as a "no-class" player after the Cavs' 131-108 win over the Raptors.

Rajaković also suggested Thompson's actions showed a lack of respect.

Raptors players Scottie Barnes and Jamal Shead confronted Thompson immediately after the final buzzer sounded, and some fans directed boos at the Cavs big man.

Tybee Island, Georgia, plans to welcome back the controversial "Orange Crush" music festival in April, so long as the organizers agree to meet certain conditions.

"Thanks for your interest in the 2025 Orange Crush Festival!" a post on the Orange Crush Instagram page reads. "We’re thrilled to announce that for the first time in decades, we are fully permitted and ready to celebrate April 18-20."

The event previously came to the popular Georgia beach town but without official permits issued by the city. It has also built a reputation for creating security and trash issues on the island.

The Tybee Island City Council on Jan. 26 sent a conditional letter of approval to Orange Crush organizer Steven Smalls, saying that the city will issue a special events permit to the festival after "all conditions" listed in the letter "have been addressed to the satisfaction" of local government leaders.

If the "scope, intensity, location, type or size of the event" deviates from the city's requirements, permit approval will be retracted.

Last year, the event came to Tybee without an official permit. Videos from the festival shared on social media showed violent brawls, women throwing haymakers and wrestling with each other, and piles of trash growing on the beach.

In the early 1990s, Orange Crush had a reputation for being a wild, crime-filled weekend, and Savannah State University disassociated with the event in 1991 because of the high number of arrests and reports of violence.

Two years ago, the event moved to Jacksonville, Florida, "due to lack of resources, limited parking, civil rights violations and political injustices," according to a June 2021 story on Jacksonville.com, which cited the event's website. The website has since been taken down.

The event returned to Tybee Island in 2023 for the first time since 2020.

The woman who gave birth on a New York City subway has been identified as a missing Florida woman who was last seen in August, according to reports.

The ex-boyfriend of 25-year-old Jenny Saint Pierre reported her missing on Aug. 5, 2024, according to the Hallandale Beach Police Department.

"MISSING PERSON ALERT. We need your help to locate 25-year-old Jenny Saint Pierre, missing since August, 5, 2024," a previous post on X from police read.

"Please share and help bring Jenny home safely."

Investigators told CBS News Miami that Pierre was schizophrenic and that she could be in danger. Pierre's family also expressed concern to police, saying that she was "excited about becoming a mother," but were worried something may have happened to her. 

Pierre's ex-boyfriend told her sister that they had an argument, which made her angry, and then she left, the outlet reported.

However, Pierre's family's worst fears were debunked on Wednesday after she made national headlines.

New York City Transit President Demetrius Crichlow said just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a train conductor was notified by numerous passengers that a woman had given birth inside a subway car.

Video obtained by Fox News Digital from a passenger on board captured the situation.

"POV: You're headed to work, and you witness someone giving birth on the train," a caption over the video read. 

Witnesses told the New York Times that, thanks to the swift actions of some good Samaritans, Pierre was taken care of after they jumped in to help deliver the baby before EMS arrived. 

Crichlow added that EMS transported Pierre and her new baby girl to a hospital. Both are said to be in good condition.

"This is another example of New Yorkers coming together to help each other, assisted by caring transit workers and other responders, reflecting the best of the subway community and this city," Crichlow said.

Pierre’s mother told the Times that she was happy to learn that her daughter was safe and that she was a grandmother.

"I’ve been thinking about my daughter every day, praying every day that she’s OK, that her baby is OK," she told the newspaper. "I’m going to sleep good tonight."

She added that her daughter and new granddaughter could return home anytime and that their entire family would be waiting for them. 

"We will always be there for her, and for her baby," she said.

It was not immediately known why Pierre fled to New York or how long she was living there. 

Fox News Digital reached out to the Hallandale Beach Police Department but did not immediately receive a response.

A gas explosion at a department store in Taiwan on Thursday killed four people and injured 26, fire authorities said.

The blast occurred at the food court on the 12th floor of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store in Taichung city, the Taichung Fire Bureau said. The higher floors of the upscale department store were blown out, raining debris on pedestrians below.

Among the dead were two people visiting from Macau, Macao's Tourism Office confirmed Thursday. Local media reported that they were part of a family of seven who were there for tourism. The other five were also injured are now being treated at local hospitals in Taichung.

Part of the store was under renovation, but it's not clear if the work was connected to the explosion, Taichung Vice Mayor Cheng Chao-hsin told reporters at the scene. "If it's found there were illegal actions or parts that violated renovation regulations, it will be dealt with appropriately," Cheng said.

Dozens of firefighters were deployed to the scene at about 11:30 a.m. Parts of the building's exterior were damaged and scattered fragments were strewn on the streets.

Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen told reporters at the scene that she felt the shock at her office nearby. She said the fire bureau would focus on a rescue operation first, but an investigation was also underway and officers were checking whether there were other sources of danger.

Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te said he had asked all relevant government agencies to investigate the cause of the accident.

"The View" co-host Joy Behar went on a rant about where America got its name on Thursday as the co-hosts discussed President Donald Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico. 

"This country that we're in was settled by indigenous people, right? And yet they named the country after an Italian White man, Amerigo Vespucci. That's what America is named after, Amerigo Vespucci, a White European," she said.

"Why was it named after a White man if it was settled by indigenous people?" Behar continued.

The co-hosts discussed the Trump White House barring the Associated Press from an event at the Oval Office on Tuesday for the outlet's refusal to use the term "Gulf of America" in accordance with President Trump’s executive order renaming the body of water between the United States and Mexico.

Co-host Sara Haines said the renaming of bodies of water was relatively common. 

"The body of water south of China, which much of the world calls the South China Sea, China calls it South Sea, Vietnam calls it Eastern Sea and the Philippines has designated parts of it the West Philippines Sea," she said. "So it happens."

Behar then made the argument that Trump shouldn't be focused on renaming the body of water. 

"But why does he care about it when the prices are going up on the eggs?" she said. "People did not vote to rename the Gulf of Mexico."

"Plastic straws and the Gulf of America, give me a break," the liberal co-host added.

AP Executive Editor Julie Pace said the outlet was barred from attending a White House signing of executive orders by Trump.

"It is alarming that the Trump administration would punish AP for its independent journalism," Pace said in a statement. "Limiting our access to the Oval Office based on the content of AP’s speech not only severely impedes the public’s access to independent news, it plainly violates the First Amendment."

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she didn't have a problem with the renaming, and argued it was more inclusive.

"I don’t hate renaming the Gulf of America, and I’m going to tell you why. It’s a more inclusive term. It is North America, Mexico and the United States are part of the Americas. It would be petty if he called it the ‘Gulf of the United States,’" she said. "These are the things Donald Trump does to trigger reaction from the media."

Travis Kelce all but admitted this week he is contemplating retiring after 12 NFL seasons. Apparently, the Kansas City Chiefs don't want to wait very long for his decision.

The star tight end just played in his third consecutive Super Bowl and, at age 35, he has not much left to accomplish in what is sure to be a Hall of Fame career.

Well, the Chiefs have reportedly given him a soft deadline of "around March 14" to make his decision, according to The Athletic.

The date makes sense, as it's two days after free agency officially begins, but arguably more importantly, his $11.5 million roster bonus is due the next day.

A report from NFL.com on Super Bowl eve said Kelce was "expected to take time after the Super Bowl, consider his future and make a decision before free agency." 

On the latest episode of his "New Heights" podcast he co-hosts with his future Hall of Fame brother Jason, he said he is "kicking every can I can down the road."

"I am not making any crazy decisions, but right now the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding there’s a lot that goes into this thing. I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years, I’ve played more football than anybody," Kelce said. "The fact that we keep going to these AFC Championships and Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league. That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body."

"It’s a lot of time in the building. … That process can be grueling. It can weigh on you. It can make you better, and it can drive you crazy," he added. "Right now, it was one of those things where it was driving me crazy this year. It happens as you tail off toward the back nine of your career."

With the Chiefs’ success over the last eight seasons, Kelce has played 25 playoff games, adding nearly a season and half worth of games to the 175 regular-season games he has played in his career. 

Clips of Kelce's apparent lack of effort in the Super Bowl have gone viral, with fans thinking he's rather checked out.

Among tight ends in NFL history, Kelce ranks third in catches (1,004) and yards (12,151) and fifth in touchdowns (77). That comes despite 11 tight ends, including those ahead of him in those prior categories, playing more games than him. For reference, Tony Gonzalez, who leads in catches and yards, played in 270 games, 95 more than Kelce.

However, it's clear that he's not his All-Pro self anymore. This season marked the first time since 2015 in which Kelce played in at least 16 games and failed to reach the 1,000-yard mark. He also scored only three touchdowns in the regular season, the lowest mark of his career outside his one-game rookie season where he didn't take an offensive snap before undergoing knee surgery.

If Super Bowl LIX was the final time fans saw Kelce on the field, it's certainly the end of a legendary career. Kelce has made 10 Pro Bowls and was either a First- or Second-Team All-Pro seven times.

The New York State Department of Health issued a health advisory Wednesday about the emergence of a new strain of mpox (formerly monkeypox).

The first case of mpox clade Ib in New York State was confirmed in a symptomatic individual who had recently traveled from Africa.

The present risk to the public remains low, the department noted, and there are no additional known community cases of this strain in New York State currently.

State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald shared that the infected individual is under the care of a physician and isolated "until the full resolution of symptoms."

"There is no known local transmission of mpox clade Ib in the community where the individual lives or anywhere within New York State," he said in a statement.

McDonald added that the JYNNEOS vaccine, which is a two-dose preventative vaccine series for mpox, is "expected to be effective" against this new strain.

"[It is] available for individuals at risk with the standing order I signed last year," he noted. "There is no immediate risk to the general public."

The health department added in its advisory that individuals should inquire with their local pharmacy or healthcare provider about vaccine availability as they continue to "monitor and maintain the situation."

Mpox is "rarely fatal," according to the department, but can be dangerous for people with immunocompromising conditions, as well as older adults, young children and pregnant women.

Symptoms can include rashes that progress to "painful skin lesions," in addition to swollen lymph nodes, fever, sore throat, headaches, back pain, low energy and muscle aches, the department listed.

There is a "high likelihood of transmission" until these lesions scab over, which means infected individuals are encouraged to isolate until new skin forms at the lesion site.

Mpox can spread through close, intimate contact with sores, scabs or rashes, the department stated, as well as through the respiratory droplets, saliva or mucus of an infected person.

Those who plan to travel to areas with reported cases of mpox should consider being vaccinated with the two doses of JYNNEOS, experts recommend.

Dr. Myles Druckman, global medical director at International SOS in California, told Fox News Digital that there have been reports of this strain in several countries in Central and Eastern Africa.

"We’re finding that other countries have also reported travel-associated cases of clade I, including Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Oman, Pakistan, South Sudan, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe," he noted.

"It's important to recognize that cases of this strain are expected due to the ongoing outbreak in multiple countries and the risks associated with global travel."

Mpox can be infectious for up to four days before symptoms occur, but it is most contagious from the time symptoms appear until about two to four weeks later, according to Druckman.

The expert emphasized that vaccination is recommended for high-risk individuals, such as healthcare workers with high exposure or people with weakened immune systems.

"Prevention of mpox is mainly through vaccination and avoiding skin-to-skin contact with others – especially those with symptoms or visible outbreaks – and observing good personal hygiene and washing hands well and frequently," he added.

Linda McMahon made her stance clear on trans inclusion in women's and girls' sports during her confirmation hearing for education secretary on Thursday.

"I do not believe that biological boys should be able to compete against girls in sports, and I think now that certainly not only have the people spoken, because that was something that Trump ran very heavily on, but I believe the court has spoken," McMahon said.

A national exit poll conducted by the Concerned Women for America (CWA) legislative action committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of "Donald Trump’s opposition to transgender boys and men playing girls and women’s sports and of transgender boys and men using girls and women’s bathrooms," as important to them. And 6% said it was the most important issue of all, while 44% said it was "very important."

Trump vowed during his 2024 campaign to ban trans athletes from women's and girls' sports. Trump made good on that promise early when he signed the No Men in Women's Sports executive order on Feb. 5. 

Prior to that, the Supreme Court ruled in August to deny a Biden administration emergency request to enforce portions of the former president's Title IX rewrites that would allow biological males in women's and girls' changing rooms.

And as McMahon looks to get confirmed as education secretary, she insists on carrying out the original mission of Title IX, and keeping women's sports for biological females. 

"We are really back to what Title IX was originally established to do and that was to protect social discrimination. Women should feel safe in their locker rooms. They should feel safe in their spaces. They shouldn't have to be exposed to men undressing in front of them," McMahon said Thursday. 

"I heard one person the other day say, ‘Well, guys should just hold the shower curtain in front of them so that they aren’t exposing themselves.' I mean really, that's just not what we should be doing. We should be making sure that Title IX, which is the law, should be enforced." 

The Biden administration education secretary, Miguel Angel Cardona, supported allowing trans athletes to compete in women's and girls' sports. 

Cardona helped draft the Title IX changes that would have prohibited blanket bans of transgender athletes on public school teams. 

In a June 2021 interview with ESPN, Cardona said "transgender girls have a right to compete."

"Our LGBTQ students have endured more harassment than most other groups. It's critically important that we stand with them and give them opportunities to engage in what every other child can engage in without harassment," Cardona said. 

"It's their right as a student to participate in these activities. And we know sports does more than just put ribbons on the first-, second- and third-place winner," he said. "We know that it provides opportunities for students to become a part of a team, to learn a lot about themselves, to set goals and reach them and to challenge themselves. Athletics provides that in our K-12 systems and in our colleges, and all students deserve an opportunity to engage in that."

Now, under the Trump administration, there will be multiple layers of efforts to prevent trans athletes from competing in women's and girls' sports, and McMahon's agenda will be one of those layers if she is confirmed. 

A recent New York Times/Ipsos survey found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transgender athletes should be permitted to compete in women's sports. Of the 2,128 people polled, 79% said biological males who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in women's sports. 

Of the 1,025 people who identified as Democrats or leaning Democratic, 67% said transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.

The Enhanced Games, the first athletic event in which performance-enhancing drugs will be 100% allowed, has backing from a prominent member of the Trump family.

The brand announced on Thursday that Donald Trump Jr.'s 1789 Capital has co-led a multimillion-dollar Series B round for the Enhanced Games.

Dr. Aron D'Souza founded the event in 2023, and the immediate backlash has been strong. He has been told his idea is unsafe, unfair and a mockery of the real Olympics.

However, Trump now joins billionaire Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal, among the high-net-worth individuals to invest in the games.

"For over 100 years, elites in charge of global sports have stifled innovation, crushed individual greatness, and refused to let athletes push the limits of what’s possible. That ends now," Trump Jr. said in a statement. "The Enhanced Games represent the future – real competition, real freedom, and real records being smashed. This is about excellence, innovation, and American dominance on the world stage – something the MAGA movement is all about. The Enhanced Games are going to be huge, and I couldn’t be prouder to support this movement that is changing sports forever."

Added D'Souza, "With these powerhouse investors, we’re building something revolutionary – sports without hypocrisy, where the best can actually be the best. Our investors see the future, and they’re backing it with conviction."

Despite the criticism, D'Souza believes his event may be one of the safest in recent memory, as plenty of medical professionals will be on hand, and athletes will go through rigorous testing before they can compete.

"Ultimately, we have one shot to do this right, and if that has any health complications whatsoever, it would not only derail the company and movement we’re creating, but also the social change that we’re attempting to create here," D'Souza said in an interview with Fox News Digital last year. 

"Ultimately, what we are doing is heavily destigmatizing performance enhancements and I think unlocking the field of performance medicine, which leads to longevity and anti-aging technologies, and the giant publicity storm that we’ve gone through, there’s so much attention, we know the world’s eyes are on us – we know we have to do this right. We know the expectations are very, very high, and there’s a great prize well beyond the future of the Olympics if we do it right, so we have to do it right."

It remains to be seen when the events will take place.

The Kansas City Chiefs are headed towards a transformational offseason where the bulk of the roster is due to enter free agency. But one of the biggest questions facing the team will be what tight end Travis Kelce decides as far as his future is concerned. 

Kelce faced retirement speculation in the lead-up to Super Bowl LIX. Had Kansas City gone on to make NFL history with a third straight championship, many believed he would’ve retired. 

But the Philadelphia Eagles threw a wrench into those suspected plans.

Kelce said after the 40-22 loss that he’s going to take time to decide what’s next. 

"I know everybody wants to know whether I am playing next year, and right now I am just kicking everything down the road. I am kicking every can I can down the road," he said on the latest episode of his podcast, "New Heights." 

But one of Kelce’s current teammates believes the veteran tight end will be back next season.

"Big dog, we – the whole organization – we can’t go out like that," Kansas City defensive end Charles Omenihu said Thursday during an appearance on FOX Sports’ "The Facility." 

"He’s a Hall of Famer from the moment he says, ‘I’m done.’ But I think Trav has a lot left. I think Trav is an extreme competitor. I think he’s somebody that loves the game, and I think in the storied career he’s had, going out like that – in my opinion, wouldn’t be something that he would do."

Omenihu said that despite the changes that are sure to come in the offseason, Patrick Mahomes is enough of a reason for Kelce to stay. 

"I believe that he’ll be back. I believe that he’ll give it one more go."

A team source told The Athletic on Friday that the team has given Kelce a deadline of mid-March to make a decision.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned Europeans this week that "realities" prevent the U.S. from being its security guarantor, and to expect a drawdown of U.S. forces in the region. 

"We are focusing on security of our own borders. We also face a peer competitor in the Communist Chinese with the capability and intent to threaten our homeland and core national interests in the Indo-Pacific," Hegseth told a meeting of a Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Belgium on Wednesday. 

"The U.S. is prioritizing deterring war with China in the Pacific. Recognizing the reality of scarcity and making the resourcing trade-offs to ensure deterrence does not fail. Deterrence cannot fail."

This was Hegseth’s first trip to the headquarters of the NATO alliance.

The U.S. defense secretary called on Europe to "take ownership of conventional security on the continent."

"European allies must lead from the front," he went on. "Together, we can establish a division of labor that maximize our comparative advantages in Europe and Pacific, respectively."

Hegseth said on Tuesday the U.S. has no active plans to draw down forces in Europe but remains committed to analyzing U.S. troop postures across the globe. Speaking at U.S. Africa Command headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, he said the U.S. is committed to having a presence in Europe while emphasizing the continent should not rely on that presence for security.

"The European continent deserves to be free from any aggression, but it ought be those in the neighborhood investing the most in that defense," he said. "That’s common sense. You defend your neighborhood, and the Americans will come alongside you in helping in that defense."

Roughly 100,000 U.S. troops are deployed across Europe, about a third of which are in Germany, according to Defense Department figures. Some 375,000 U.S. forces are assigned to the Indo-Pacific Command. 

During his first term, President Donald Trump began pulling thousands of troops out of Europe. 

Under the Trump administration, the U.S. has begun to bolster its troop presence on the southern border. Some 1,500 more U.S. troops deployed to the southern border last week, bringing the total up to 3,600.

Hegseth also said that any European peacekeeping forces sent to help Ukraine win the war against Russia must not be from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and would not be protected under Article 5, a provision that states an attack on one NATO country is an attack on all. 

The defense secretary said the U.S. does not believe allowing Ukraine into NATO is a "realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement."

Hegseth also called on NATO countries to step up after Trump recently called on them to boost defense spending to 5%. 

"The United States will no longer tolerate an imbalanced relationship which encourages dependency."

Earlier this week, Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelenskyy suggested that security guarantees for Ukraine without the U.S. are "not real security guarantees." 

"There are voices which say that Europe could offer security guarantees without the Americans, and I always say no," he told The Guardian. "Security guarantees without America are not real security guarantees."

Mandy Moore has never shied away from voicing her opinions. 

On Tuesday, the "This Is Us" actress took to social media to express her frustration with Amazon after a package was allegedly delivered to her in-laws' home that was destroyed in the LA fires. 

"Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father-in-law’s home. Smh," Moore wrote on her Instagram stories alongside a photo of the alleged package in front of the demolished home.

That same day, Moore - who evacuated last month with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children - detailed the harrowing experience in a separate post. 

"We never got an evacuation notice," she began her lengthy post on Instagram alongside a photo of the destroyed home. "Sometimes in the quieter moments of processing the last month, I play the game of what would have happened if I didn’t have my phone next to me, playing my typical ‘piano for deep sleep’ mix as I nursed Lou before bed, so I could answer the call from my brother-in-law? It was 6:45 p.m. and he told me he, his wife, and our niece were evacuating, grabbing my in-laws (his parents) and getting the heck out of Dodge and we should do the same."

"I calmly walked downstairs and relayed this to my husband and without skipping a beat, we promptly packed up the kids (in their pjs), our dog, and scrambled to find our 3 cats as the power went out," she continued. "I’ll never forget Taylor trying to figure out how to manually open our two little garage doors (they’d just finished construction around Thanksgiving and we’d just started using them—) in the harrowing 60 mph winds, as the sky glowed a dark red and ash started to fall all around us. We raced across town amidst fallen trees on the freeway to the safety of our dear friend’s place, got the kids down, and then I raced to Target to grab a litter box and some water, impulsively refreshing the watch duty app over and over."

Moore said that while they found out their home is "still standing," the contents are "near a total loss."

"Clothes, furniture, pretty much everything will have to be disposed of…maybe even the walls too," she wrote. "We won’t be there for a very long time as it and the neighborhood itself get sorted out and cleaned and the rebuilding starts. I say all of this because i’m struggling. Yes we are exceedingly lucky to technically still have the structure of a home. But also… do we still have a home? I think my definition is in flux. The physical space? No. It goes without saying that our sweet brood and our pets are ALL that matters and home is where we are together… but having a sanctuary and safe space to feel settled really goes a long way too."

While the "This Is Us" actress expressed her gratitude for the safety of her family, she shared her heartfelt condolences for those who lost everything. 

"Real human beings across this town, regardless of their jobs or socioeconomic status, lost the life they’d come to know and count on in an instant," she wrote. "My whole heart is with them. Every one of them. This place, our home and the town itself, was our dream and I hope in time it will feel like that again… just a slightly different one."

Moore shared the emotional moment she and her family found out her home was "indeed gone."

"We held each other, processed the unimaginable, and then went back to Target (I swear this isn’t sponsored) to buy some clothes because we actually took nothing with us, fully expecting to come back the next morning," she wrote. "It wasn’t for another few hours that we would find out that much of our property had burned down, but our home itself was miraculously still standing. And not just that, but as we’ve all come to realize, our entire community was gone. Our neighbors. Our neighborhood. Our family and friends."

"A month removed, I find myself drifting back to Altadena, driving up and down the streets while Lou naps in the car, still not able to fully comprehend all of it or what it means, or on my less optimistic days, how any of us move forward," she concluded. "I’m reaching out and asking for help and guidance on how to process this trauma because my brain and heart are so deeply broken."

Last month, the actress took to Instagram to share that her brother-in-law, Griff, and her sister-in-law, Kit, lost their home in the Eaton Fire. She shared that Griff and Kit are expecting their first baby soon, and "they need our support now more than ever."

"Griff is a touring musician and also lost his entire arsenal of drums/percussion he uses to make a living. It’s all so much. So many have asked how to help during this unimaginable and stressful time…Please consider donating and sharing to help them rebuild," Moore wrote.

Moore later edited her caption to address people who are concerned about whether she plans on financially helping her family.

"And people questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic," she wrote. 

"Of course we are. Our buddy Matt started this go fund me and i’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them. We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. no one is forcing you to do anything," she concluded.
