Bill Belichick and his girlfriend have 'discussed marriage': report

Despite a nearly 50-year age gap, Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson may tie the knot.

According to Page Six, the UNC head coach and former cheerleader have "definitely discussed marriage," and it "isn't out of the question."

And, yes, "they would definitely get a prenup," the report says, citing a source.

There is no rush, though, and Hudson "hasn’t put any pressure on Bill at all to propose, and she feels like it will happen when and if the time is right."

Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 23, met on an flight headed to Boston in 2021 and apparently immediately hit it off.

Hudson celebrated their "meetiversary" on Tuesday. Belichick signed one of her college textbooks on the flight as they sat next to one another.

"Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!" Belichick wrote in the book, signed Feb. 11, 2021.

CHIEFS GIVE TRAVIS KELCE DEADLINE ON DECISION TO RETIRE: REPORT

The two were first publicly linked last year, three years after meeting on the flight. They apparently had gotten more serious after his breakup with Linda Holliday in 2022.

Belichick was spotted at a cheer competition last year in support of Hudson. Afterward, she attended Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June, shortly before reports surfaced she and Belichick had been dating.

The 48-year age gap was the butt of one of Snoop Dogg's jokes during the NFL Honors.

"I've been a football fan for a long, long time. … Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet," Snoop joked.

At the honors, Belichick wore all eight of his Super Bowl rings, including the pair he won with the New York Giants as their defensive coordinator. Hudson wore a national championship ring for cheerleading she won in 2021.

At Sunday's Super Bowl, Hudson wore a customized jacket with logos of the six Super Bowls Belichick won with the Pats.

Man proposes to girlfriend mid-flight while thousands of feet in the air

A man decided to take his relationship to the next level and to brand-new heights by proposing to his girlfriend mid-flight.

Sam Riber, a 34-year-old CEO from Pennsylvania, took inspiration from the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore movie, "The Wedding Singer," to propose to his now-fiancΓ©, Lissy Alden, 37.

The Philadelphia resident first met Alden, owner of mental and organizational fitness provider MYNDY, at a Shabbat dinner early last year. The two immediately felt a connection, as news agency SWNS reported.

"I almost didn't go to that Shabbat dinner in February because I was tired, but my mom told me I needed to eat … I'm so glad I went," Alden told SWNS.

"We have both dated a lot before, so when we both felt it was really right, we didn't want to have to wait," he said.Β

Nearly eight months passed by and Riber had already started coming up with a plan to propose to his girlfriend.

While on a flight to Mexico for Alden's birthday, Riber took that moment as an opportunity to get down on one knee while thousands of feet in the air, SWNS reported.

Riber and Alden are both film lovers β€” so the CEO decided that he wanted to recreate a scene from the 1998 comedy film.

Without Alden noticing, Riber was able to smuggle a prop guitar onto the plane and work in secret codewords with the flight attendants to pull off the surprise proposal, SWNS said.Β

Alden and her then-boyfriend were halfway through their flight from North Carolina to Mexico City on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.Β

That's when Riber pulled out his prop guitar and serenaded her with the same song Sandler's character sang when he proposed to Barrymore's character in the movie "The Wedding Singer" β€” "Grow Old With You."

The fitness founder responded to the life-changing moment with a resounding, "Yes!"

"It was such a special moment," Riber told the news organization.

"I almost couldn't believe it all worked out."

While Riber has been a fan of the movie for years, his now-fiancΓ© was not as familiar with the movie.

"Lissy had never seen it, so I had to find a way to introduce it to her without giving anything away," the Pennsylvania CEO said.Β

"I managed to casually suggest a movie night. She went for it and luckily she absolutely loved the film, same as me," he said. "We've since sung versions of that song to each other because we often quote or act out movies to entertain each other, but she had no clue about my wider plan."

Riber was able to pull off the entire proposal without a hitch, thanks to the support of the flight attendants.

"I was lucky enough to have the support of the flight attendants, especially Teri Ramirez, who you see helping me with the PA system," Riber said.

"The team went above and beyond to help, even introducing our code word 'juice' so I would know when to go up and grab the guitar they'd been hiding for me."

Alden initially thought the excitement on the flight had to do with her birthday, since Riber had already started to celebrate by bumping them up to first class, SWNS added.

"Although I had no idea he was going to propose then and there, we had talked about a future, so it wasn't completely out of the blue," the MYNDY owner shared.

"But, when he got down on one knee, I realized what was happening and just felt so happy."

Reflecting back on the magical moment in the sky, Alden called the experience "a peak life moment."

Words and game of Scrabble keep married couple in wedded bliss for decades

A married couple who have long enjoyed the game of Scrabble both together and separately before they even met are never at a loss for words β€” and attribute their wedded bliss in part to their love of the nostalgic game.

They're still playing in tournaments built around the game decades after they began doing so.

Graham Harding and his wife Helen Harding, both in their 60s, have been married for over 20 years.

They met in the 1990s at Scrabble tournaments, as news agency SWNS reported.

But it was a "special match" in 2000 that brought the couple together β€” and has kept them together now.

Graham Harding is from the East Berkshire Scrabble Club, while his wife Helen is from the Leicester Scrabble Club in the U.K.

They have been taking part in the UK Open Scrabble Championship in Reading this week.

"Scrabble is all about having a good vocabulary," said Graham Harding, SWNS noted.

"But it is a Scrabble vocabulary β€” not necessarily everyday English."

Added Helen Harding, "The more words you know, the more ammunition you've got."

The couple said they were "vague acquaintances" for about five years after they first met.

Then they got together after a special match in Swindon.

They maintained a long-distance relationship before they got married in 2004.

The couple even brought their Scrabble board to their wedding.Β

It featured a message with Scrabble pieces that said, "Congratulations on your wedding day" β€” while their wedding cake said, in Scrabble letters, "Helen and Graham."

The tournament that's been taking place this week is the first since the COVID pandemic after a five-year break β€” and the couple has played some two dozen games in it as of Friday, SWNS reported.Β
