Harrison Ford's ‘1923’ co-star says actor’s real-life plane crash impacted his acting

Helen Mirren saw Harrison Ford's plane crash trauma firsthand while filming a scene in Taylor Sheridan's "1923."

Ford was on the cover of the Wall Street Journal's February issue to discuss his six-decade acting career, and his "The Mosquito Coast" co-star, Mirren, weighed in on her experience working with the acclaimed actor.

Mirren recalled the very first scene with Ford in "1923," which was the aftermath of an ambush against the Dutton family. Ford's character, Jacob Dutton, was left riddled with bullet wounds.

"He’s been carried into the kitchen, dying and covered in blood, and later Harrison did say to me, ‘That was how I was after the accident,’" Mirren told the outlet, referring to his plane crash. "I think, maybe, going through that experience just gave him a very different understanding of what it is to be a sentient human being."

HARRISON FORD RESPONDS WITH NSFW ANSWER WHEN ASKED ABOUT CO-STAR, SAYS HELEN MIRREN IS ‘STILL SEXY’

Ford has touched on his near-fatal plane crash in 2015, which affected his acting in "1923."

"When the scripts were coming, I was struck by how many major moments in my character's life had a substantial and not coincidental shadow of the same things in my life," Ford said during an interview with People in 2023.

"I watched a rehearsal with a stand-in being brought into the kitchen, and Helen [Mirren] coming in, sweeping everything off the counter, taking command."

"Even when I talk about it now, it emotionally relates to the airplane crash I had and what my wife went through," he added.

Although the "Indiana Jones" actor has been flying for years, Ford’s extreme plane crash in 2015 was the incident that loomed over his family the most.

'1923' STAR HARRISON FORD SHARES SECRETS ABOUT SEASON TWO AND REVEALS WHY HE'LL NEVER RETIRE

Ford suffered from head injuries, broken bones and a scraped arm when his vintage plane crashed into a Los Angeles golf course. At the time, Ford reported an engine failure during his flight.

The "Star Wars" alum has courageously moved on from the life-altering crash and is proud to tell the tale through his character in "1923."

"There have been five of six of those kinds of things that have shown up in the script, and it's really remarkable," Ford told People. "There's something that feels bigger than myself, and it's great to be able to serve these ideas."

The "1923" prequel is the second spinoff to the popular series, which follows the lives of the Dutton family as they run the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This series focuses on the Dutton family surviving the early 20th century, including the Spanish flu pandemic, the historic drought in America, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression.

Mirren and Ford play Cara and Jacob Dutton, a married couple who manage a family ranch in Montana. The couple faces several challenges during their journey, but remain resilient throughout.

Ford revealed that he signed on to the "Yellowstone" prequel before ever seeing a script – the same thing he did with "Shrinking" and "Captain America: Brave New World." Per the WSJ, Ford signed on to these projects "based on the reputation of the shows’ creators and the broad plans they laid out for him."

"Again, no script," he said. "Why not? I saw enough Marvels to see actors that I admired having a good time."

In 2022, Mirren revealed that she also agreed to star in "1923" before reading a script.

"I wasn’t hugely familiar with the whole thing. What interested me about ('1923'), I did see ‘1883,’ and that era of American history has always really fascinated me," she said during an interview with Variety.

Mirren added that co-star Ford had the same sentiments and agreed to be a part of the Sheridan franchise without looking at the script first.

"The fact that Harrison was going to be involved was very important for me. Both of us committed to it without really reading any scripts.

"We didn’t really know what we were signing up for… the specifics of what we were signing up for. We had trust in Taylor’s extraordinary abilities as a writer, and we took a leap of faith," Mirren added.

Country star Colt Ford's advice to Jelly Roll after dropping 150 pounds

Country star Colt Ford shared that he and Jelly Roll were able to bond over what it's like to be the "big guys."

During a recent interview with People, Ford revealed that he and Jelly Roll hung out backstage at one of the "Save Me" singer's concerts, where they discussed the complicated feelings that come with trying to live a healthier lifestyle when so much of your public image is associated with weight.

"Jelly has lost a bunch of weight," Ford told the outlet. "You start to think when you're a big guy like that and people love you, 'What if I lose weight? Are they going to still like me?' And I'm like, 'No, bro. I thought that for so long. No, no, no. As long as you're who you are, and you're authentic and good to people, s---, they don't care.'"

Ford, who once weighed 340 pounds, began his health journey in 2022, after he was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness, dropping to 250 pounds.

COUNTRY STAR COLT FORD SAYS HE 'DIED TWO TIMES' AFTER SUFFERING A HEART ATTACK

Following a near-fatal heart attack in April 2024, Ford committed to an even bigger lifestyle change, revealing he has since given up fried food and soda, and has begun walking more.

"There's much easier diets," he said. "But when I tried to lose weight before, when you're as heavy as I was... you feel like you're working hard and you still look in the mirror and go, 'This sucks. I'd rather just go back to [fast-food chain] Zaxby's.'"

Ford went on to share that he has not had a sip of soda or eaten any fried chicken since his health scare, explaining, "I'm eating a lot healthier. It's nice to feel good and be able to tell people like Jelly that."

In a previous interview with People, Ford shared that he knew he had successfully given up his fast-food addiction when he was able to turn down his wife's offer to go to Waffle House to celebrate his 55th birthday.

"When I woke up, my wife Megan goes, ‘I'll take you to Waffle House,’" the singer said. "And I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to go.’ That’s when I knew I had won. I broke the habit."

Jelly Roll has also been open about his journey to a healthier lifestyle, sharing in November 2024 that he had lost 110 pounds. He debuted his slimmer appearance at the 2024 CMA Awards, where he walked the red carpet alongside his wife, Bunnie XO, and his 15-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann.

He went into detail about what the process has been like for him on a December 2024 episode of his wife's podcast, "Dumb Blonde," explaining he went through it "publicly for a reason."

"I think that people that become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they're kind of ashamed," he said. "They're so ashamed that they go and hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out, and they don't really know how to interact with the world, looking different or feeling different, you know? And they kind of got to find their whole new way."

The "Church" singer also wants people to see that his success in the music industry is not dependent on his size, saying he "became successful in spite of" his weight, somehow managing "to be this successful with carrying 550 pounds."

Country music star Colt Ford is switching up his diet after he suffered a heart attack last April.

The "Slow Ride" singer shared that he ditched certain food and drinks, including fried chicken and Mountain Dew, since his health crisis left him in an 8-day coma.

Ford explained that for his 55th birthday he turned down his wife’s invitation to a famous dining establishment for the sake of his health.

"When I woke up, my wife Megan goes, ‘I’ll take you to Waffle House,’" he told People

"And I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to go.’ That’s when I knew I had won. I broke the habit."

Ford, who co-wrote fellow country star Jason Aldean’s popular song "Dirt Road Anthem," and has collaborated with Toby Keith, described how his healthier lifestyle allowed him to shed 60 pounds.

"I’m wearing a 32-inch waist now instead of 44 — but I’ve told everybody there’s much easier diets," Ford joked. "I’m looking at it as a blessing. I’m going to be healthier than I’ve ever been."

The pro golfer-turned-country star admitted that fried chicken and Mountain Dew were his go-to food choices and admitted he used to weigh 340 pounds at one point.

"I loved that stuff," he confessed. "I was a terrible eater."

Ford, who’s currently 190 pounds, shared how he opted for healthier options at fast food restaurants.

"I've changed everything. If I go by Whataburger, I'll eat a grilled chicken sandwich. I don't do all the fries and stuff," he said. "McDonald's used to be my s--- and I loved it, but I haven't even craved it."

In 2022, the country star was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness, myasthenia gravis.

Last April, Ford said he "died twice" after he had a heart attack following his performance in Phoenix, Arizona.

He flatlined twice and underwent 10-hour surgery before being placed on an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine for a week, Ford told People.

After being hospitalized and then going to rehab for two months, Ford called his experience "life-changing."

"My doctor said, ‘I have no idea how you survived.'"

"God has more for me to do," Ford concluded. "For some reason he saw fit to give me another chance, so I intend to do something positive with it."

In May 2024, Ford detailed what he could remember from his heart attack during an interview on the "Big D & Bubba" show.

"I didn't even remember coming out here to do a show in Phoenix, and apparently we played this great, sold-out show, and it was incredible," Ford said in a phone interview at the time.

"I walked back to the bus, texted my fiancée, ‘Hi baby,’ and fell over dead. I died two times. Luckily, my band came out to check on me. … All of a sudden, that's when all hell broke loose."

Around the time of his health crisis, Ford played a show at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row in Gilbert, Arizona, his representative said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital at the time. At one point, he was in "stable, but critical condition in the ICU."

He admitted that after texting his fiancée, "I don't remember anything."

Ford was told he was transferred to another hospital that could provide better care, and he "died on the way over" to that center, but medics "brought me back, saved my life."

"The Lord had more for me to do, more music for me to make, hopefully more differences to make in some people's lives," he remarked.

Grammy nominee Post Malone's country music challenges traditional stereotypes: expert

Post Malone's gone country, and it's challenging "traditional country stereotypes," according to one music expert.

The star's genre shift landed him five of eight Grammys nominations. The artist is up for best recording package with his album "F-1 Trillion," and best country album.

His song featuring Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," was nominated for best country song and best country duo/group performance. Meanwhile, the rapper's country collaboration with Beyoncé, "Levii's Jeans," was nominated for best pop duo/group performance.

"F-1 Trillion" also features a handful of big-name country artists, including Wallen, Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.

RAPPER-TURNED-COUNTRY ARTIST POST MALONE CREDITS DAUGHTER FOR SAVING HIS LIFE

The singer's decision to align himself with country stars already at the top of the charts "generally fast-tracks" a transition, according to branding expert Doug Eldridge.

"When compared to 'country western' of 40 years ago, modern country is more up-tempo and pop-infused but still built around a core group of relatable issues: love, loss, faith, family and America," Eldridge told Fox News Digital. "It's arguably never been a better time for Malone — or anyone else — to dip their toes in the warm waters of country music."

COUNTRY MUSIC WORLD STANDS BY MORGAN WALLEN DESPITE ROLLER-COASTER YEAR

Post Malone debuted his country album, "F-1 Trillion," Aug. 16, days after he performed for the first time at the Grand Ole Opry. The singer was introduced by country star Brad Paisley, who is featured on Post Malone's single, "Goes Without Saying."

However, Post Malone's country reinvention has been "in the making for years," according to industry expert Lyric Mandell, co-founder of artist development and media management firm Tutti Agency.

"Since 2015, Post Malone has hinted at his eventual dive into country and folk music, once tweeting that he would fully embrace the genre by the time he turned 30," Mandell explained to Fox News Digital.

"Now, just under 30 and true to his word, he continues to lean into personal narratives that have always defined his music, like struggle and nostalgia, while leaning into country music’s emotional core and killer collaborators. The transition doesn’t feel forced because it isn’t; it’s a logical next step rather than a trend-chasing pivot that has been in the making for nearly a decade.=

"From a media theory perspective, Post Malone’s shift mirrors the shifting landscape of country music, where artists like Jelly Roll and now Post Malone are challenging traditional country stereotypes," she added. "The genre is embracing a rawer, more diverse group of artists who blur the lines between country, rock and hip-hop. This shift creates the perfect conditions for Post Malone’s crossover to feel both innovative and organic."

Post Malone hasn't completely changed his tune. He worked alongside pop star Taylor Swift in 2024 to release "Fortnight," which has also been nominated for multiple Grammys. The duet is up for song of the year, record of the year and best music video.

"Genres suck," Post Malone previously told The New York Times. "It’s easier to catalog music that way. But at a certain point — and the cool thing is that it’s moving towards this — why can’t you mix all this together and make something that’s truly unique to you?"

The move "reflects a broader trend of genre-bending" in today's music industry, Mandell said.

"For him, this transition doesn’t feel like an abrupt evolution or total reinvention, but rather a natural shift. His music has always been rooted in the storytelling traditions that are fundamental to both genres."

Post Malone's country reinvention began in his personal life. The rapper moved from Los Angeles to Utah in 2019.

"I love living here in Cottonwood Heights," Malone previously said in a video shared by the city. "It’s the most amazing place ever, and I have had such a great time over these years, and I love you guys, too."

The singer has become a part of the community, performing at the NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City in 2023. Post Malone also helped design a Raising Cane's restaurant in Utah's Midvale.

Jewel defends RFK Jr. MAHA ball performance, says Trump administration willing to help on mental health crisis

Jewel is defending herself after fans voiced their disappointment over her decision to perform at the MAHA Inaugural Ball for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Following her surprise performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for Kennedy and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, at the ball, many fans took to the comments section of her recent Instagram posts to share that they were upset with her decision to perform at the ball.

"Incredibly disappointed. Jewel is MAGA. Unfollow," one fan wrote in the comments section of a post shared by the singer-songwriter on Monday. "You are a huge disappointment. I was a fan for decades but now will never listen to your music again or pay any money to see you perform live," another follower added.

In a video posted to her Instagram on Friday, the 50-year-old shared her reasons for choosing to perform at the ball.

JEWEL'S ADVICE ON OVERCOMING HEARTBREAK, HARDSHIPS: 'IT'S WHAT WE DO WITH THE PIECES’

"As many of you know, I am a mental health advocate. If there’s anything that I’ve learned in the past 20 years, it’s that mental health affects everybody’s lives across party lines," Jewel said at the start of the video. "I reached out to the last administration, spoke with the surgeon general about the mental health crisis that’s facing our nation. I don’t know if you guys know the stats, but it is bleak."

The performer went on to say that she believes there are many things we as a society can do to help, adding, "I believe I can help, and if I believe I can help, I have to try."

Jewel has been very vocal about her passion for increasing awareness surrounding the mental health crisis among children and adults in the country and working towards making mental health resources available to everyone who needs them.

Her passion led her to become the co-founder of the Inspiring Children Foundation, a non-profit which helps children at-risk in Las Vegas. Jewel also co-founded Innerworld, a virtual reality-based free wellness center which offers mental health tools.

"If I wait to try until I agree 100% with the people that might be willing to help me, I’d never get off the bench. I don’t think that’s how activism works, waiting until everything’s perfect enough to participate," she continued in her video to her fans. "It’s actually because things are so imperfect that we have to find ways to engage and to participate. And we have to act now. We cannot wait another four years."

Jewel echoed this sentiment in the caption of her post, where she explained that "we need people from all walks of life" to work together when it comes to advocating for a greater emphasis on "mental health and other critical issues, so we can find a way forward together."

While Jewel admits she does "not agree on all the politics," she thinks there are those in the new Trump administration who "are willing to help on this issue."

"If I can help shape policy, make sure mental health is in the conversation… If I can help put resources or mental health tools into the hands of the most vulnerable who need it, I’m going to try and I’m going to fight," she said. "And I understand that my words were overly simplistic. Half of our country feels hope right now, and I honor that. And half of our country feels disenfranchised and scared and vulnerable, and that is unacceptable."

Later in the video, the Grammy-nominated artist apologized to her fans for any pain she may have caused them by performing at the ball, addressing her LGBTQIA fans specifically, telling them that "you've made my life a better place."

Jewel further noted that she will "never stop fighting" and thinks that "having hard conversations" is the only way to create change. She said she hopes that someday "we can push through our hurt and move toward understanding on both sides."

"I want to be a ray of light in this world. I try hard to be a ray of light in your lives," Jewel said. "I know that in times of darkness we must grow light, and so I will wake up again tomorrow and try again. And I will count on each of you to do the same."

Hines shared pictures from the evening in an Instagram post on Wednesday. In the series of photos, the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actress can be seen posing alongside her husband in a stunning one-shoulder Romona Kaveza gown and greeting guests.

Trump inauguration performer Lee Greenwood defends Carrie Underwood against critics

After Carrie Underwood received mixed reactions for agreeing to perform at President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, Lee Greenwood is coming to the country star's defense.

"Carrie Underwood is a great artist," the "God Bless the USA" singer told Fox News Digital on Friday. "A great singer. I've sang with her before. She will do a great job singing at the Capitol with ‘America the Beautiful.’"

"I'll sing before the President takes his oath," he added. "She will sing after. And just the moment will be magic. For those people who have something negative to say, I say keep it to yourself. Don't attack a friend of mine who is here for the same reason as I am to inaugurate the 47th President of the United States."

"I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."

While some criticized her, including Joy Behar of "The View", others were quick to offer their support.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD JOINED BY VILLAGE PEOPLE, LEE GREENWOOD AT TRUMP INAUGURATION EVENTS

During an episode of the "Amy & T.J." podcast last week, T.J. Holmes said, "You better believe a lot of her fans and a lot of people are split on her participation — you can go look up her response if you'd like — but she's performing. Hey, it's the damn ... it's an inauguration. It's an American event, it's a patriotic event in a lot of ways, and it's just a beautiful event that happens every four years in this country. To participate in it, who wouldn't say yes to that? Does it matter who the president is? Can you not participate because people have an issue with politics or the policies or the person?"

JASON ALDEAN, KID ROCK JOIN CARRIE UNDERWOOD AT TRUMP INAUGURATION EVENTS

"Yeah, I think that Carrie Underwood made the decision that was right for her, and she has a beautiful voice, and I can't wait to hear it," Amy Robach added.

As for Greenwood — who has performed a handful of times for Trump-related events, including the 2017 inauguration and the 2024 Republican National Convention — the singer said it is a "great privilege" to be hitting the stage again at such a historical event.

"To my President, Donald Trump, we have confidence in you that the next four years, as I spoke to you at Mar-a-Lago, you are a peacemaker," he told Fox News Digital. From my father's time in the Navy, in the Merchant Marine during World War Two and my wife's father's tenure in the Army, we know that you respect the military, and you use it wisely. Just thank you for all that you will do for all the rest of us. The citizens of America stand with you."

Trump's presidential inauguration events will feature performances by Underwood the Village People and Greenwood.

Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood’s friendship with President Carter spanned years: ‘They’ve inspired us’

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood paid their respects to former President Carter and honored their friendship with the American leader Thursday.

Brooks and Yearwood dressed in all black while singing John Lennon's "Imagine" at the end of Carter's funeral at Washington National Cathedral Jan. 9. The couple maintained a friendship with the former president throughout the years.

"President Carter, the legacy you and Rosalynn have left us is as beautiful as the life you lived," Brooks said in a statement shared shortly after Carter's death.

"Thank you for your lifetime of service to our country and the world. You inspired us not just by what you said, but by what you built. We love you."

AN 'EXTRAORDINARY MAN': FORMER PRESIDENT CARTER LIES IN STATE AT CAPITOL AHEAD OF STATE FUNERAL

The former president had reportedly requested that Brooks and Yearwood perform the song at the funeral. Fox News Digital reached out to the Carter Center for comment.

Brooks and Yearwood performed the same duet at Rosalynn Carter's funeral in November 2023. Rosalynn's service was held at Emory University's Glenn Memorial Church in Atlanta. The couple dressed in all black for the somber occasion.

At the time, Brooks spoke highly of Rosalynn and shared how close the former first lady and his wife had become over the years.

"They were inseparable," he explained at a press conference, according to "Today." "Miss Yearwood called her 'quiet warrior.''

He shared his own admiration for Carter's wife, telling reporters, "If you ever got to hang around her, President Carter always steals the show, and then when it comes time for her to speak, she’ll walk to the mic. What she says is very quiet but yet very powerful."

AMERICANS FLOCK TO THE CAPITOL TO PAY RESPECTS TO FORMER PRESIDENT CARTER AHEAD OF FUNERAL: ‘JOB WELL DONE’

Brooks and Yearwood met the Carters working for Habitat for Humanity. The former president and his wife first began working with the charity in 1984. The couple led a renovation project on a 19-unit apartment building in New York City.

The country music stars became involved with Habitat for Humanity years later, after Hurricane Katrina left destruction in New Orleans.

"After Katrina in '07, we fell in love with Habitat for Humanity. We knew we loved the Carters, and we fell more in love with them just getting a chance to work alongside them," Yearwood told People magazine in 2023. "We love what Habitat for Humanity is about — spreading love. It is about creating community.

"To whom much is given, much is expected," she added. "We’ll never fill their shoes, but we’re doing the best we can."

Brooks and Yearwood were also "inspired" by Carter and Rosalynn's 77-year marriage.

"They’ve inspired us in a lot of ways, in the ways you expect — humanity, humbleness, work ethic. But they’ve also inspired us by their example as husband and wife," Brooks told People in 2023.

"We worked beside them for the last 15 years, and you notice right away they bicker back and forth about the right way to do things. That kind of works for us too!"

In 2019, Brooks and Yearwood performed at the Grand Ole Opry with Carter as part of a Habitat for Humanity project. Carter and his wife were in Nashville to build houses with the organization.

"We get more out of Habitat than we’ve ever put into it," the former president said during the closing ceremony at the Opry, according to Opry.com. It was one of Carter's last visits to the legendary Ryman Auditorium.

Carter wasn't only close with Brooks and Yearwood. The former leader of the United States had a handful of celebrity confidants. He spent time with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Greg Allman, Johnny Cash and Jimmy Buffett, to name a few.

"He definitely wants to know that we're working, and this is why we're here. He has a legacy of service, and he never stopped serving," Yearwood told People magazine in October.

"He's not physically standing here building, swinging a hammer. But we feel his presence and Ms. Rosalynn’s presence strongly. We're just two volunteers, but everybody who's on this site feels that responsibility to make them proud."

Carter entered hospice care in February 2023 and died Dec. 29, 2024.

The former president died surrounded by his family roughly 22 months after entering hospice care at his home in Georgia. Carter battled metastatic melanoma in 2015. His skin cancer was treated with surgery, radiation and immunotherapy at the age of 90.

Dolly Parton says she's 'ready for a diet' after eating everything she wants for the holidays

Dolly Parton doesn't stress too much when it comes to enjoying the holidays.

In an interview with Closer magazine, the "Jolene" singer shared some of her family's favorite holiday traditions. When it comes to overindulging over the holidays, Parton said that she and her family don't worry about it.

"We all start eating around Thanksgiving, and we eat until the first of January, and that's when we all go on our diets. You know how that goes?" she told the outlet, according to the Daily Mail. "So you think, 'Well, I'm not going to even think about dieting now. I'm just going to eat everything I want to.'"

Although "you stretch your clothes out" while enjoying all the good holiday food, Parton explained that she doesn't mind, because she knows she'll be "ready for a diet after the first of the year."

DOLLY PARTON DOESN’T KNOW IF SHE’S ‘STILL CONSIDERED A COUNTRY ARTIST'

The singer went on to say she goes "all-out for Christmas" with her family, sharing that different generations of kids each have a different nickname for her, including "Granny Claus, Dolly Claus, or Gigi Claus."

"I've been doing that since I had my younger brothers and sisters," she said. "They've now got children, and now their children have children, so I've just been at it for years. Christmas is a big thing for us."

Part of their big family Christmas tradition is a big feast which Parton cooks for her and her extended family.

Along with the dinner, Parton serves wine from her label, which she notes "is great, because it goes with different things."

'We have turkey and ham, black eyed peas and cornbread dressing, and then we have lots of mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and that sort of thing," she said about the big feast she cooks.

Aside from the meal, another big part of Parton's Christmas celebration includes her and her family gathering around the piano and singing classic Christmas songs together, like "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and "Silent Night."

Earlier this year, Parton expressed her interest in spending Thanksgiving with the royal family, and inviting them to Dollywood for the holiday..

"Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic!" she told Closer. "The kids could go on all the rides, and we would treat them like royalty! I’d give Kate my mashed potatoes – I wouldn’t put on any airs for them. I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I’m sure that’s the way they would want it. I would love to have those kids at Dollywood."

"At the time, quite honestly, I was like, ‘I kind of just want a f--- buddy in Nashville,’" Cavallari admitted to Bunnie Xo, wife of country music star Jelly Roll. "That's really hard to find here for some reason. And I wanted to make Morgan that, but . . . ."

"He's a great f--- buddy," she noted, before later adding: "But he was so busy, honestly, that it was just like, ‘why the f--- am I like – what are we doing? This is silly.'"

Cavallari also clarified that Wallen did not hurt her feelings, as her friend previously claimed on the reality TV star's podcast.

"I'll be honest with you, Morgan was the first guy in my entire f---ing life that wasn't, just like, completely enamored with me," she explained. "And I was like, ‘What the f--- is going on?’ And it really threw me."

"So it was one of those things where I was like, ‘Why do I keep going back to this guy?'" Cavallari said.

She added: "And I love having the upper hand. And I feel like with him, I didn't have the upper hand, and I was like, 'I'm going to f------ get it.' Never did. I will say I walked away from him a couple times, and I was ultimately the one that ended it, but I never felt like I, like, had him. And yeah, the only time in my life. So, that really f---ed with me.'

Cavallari was previously married to NFL star Jay Cutler. The couple announced their divorce in 2020.

"With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce," Cavallari wrote on social media at the time. "We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of."

Cavallari and Cutler share three kids; daughter Saylor and sons Jaxon and Camden.

The TV star dated TikToker Mark Estes for about seven months following her divorce.

Cavallari admitted she ended things with Estes due to their 13-year age gap.

"Mark and I broke up," she said on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast. "It's hard, because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it's not right, and it's not because of love lost or something bad happened."

"I just know long-term he needs to experience life. He's young," she said. "I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience.

"I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then. Those are crucial years. Those are formative years. They're when you find yourself, and he needs to be able to do that."

This is a lesson that Elvis pulled me aside at Graceland one night and shared with me. After hearing it, I applied it to my career. Learn to be humble.

The fans of what you do give everything to you — and if you don’t stay accessible, down to earth, true to your music and true to your beliefs, they have the right to take it away from you.

Always consider it an honor when someone takes the time to acknowledge you.

It’s the ultimate compliment.

After all, success is not a place. It’s the incredible trip you take that’s the most important.

So be careful not to overlook your journey by taking time to reflect along the way.
